Sommerklänge 2026

Drinks. Concert. Dinner.
All in one place.

The ‘Sommerklänge’ concert series brings chamber music to special venues in the canton of Zug.

On Sunday 26 July 2026, the series will be stopping off at the Park Hotel Zug – with the concert ‘Böhm sei Dank!’ by the Ensemble Astera.

The Franco-Swiss wind quintet will perform a colourful programme featuring works by Foerster, Klughardt, Dvořák and Szervánszky. Flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon come together to blend Romanticism, the Bohemian soundscape and modern expressiveness.

Anyone wishing to start their concert experience in a relaxed manner is welcome at the Park Hotel Zug from 4.00 pm. The aperitif is optional and can be enjoyed individually on site.

After the concert, the aigu Restaurant & Bar remains open for concert-goers. Whether it’s a snack, dinner or a drink at the bar: anyone wishing to round off their ‘Summer Sounds’ evening with some fine dining will find the perfect setting at aigu – relaxed, enjoyable and right in the heart of Zug.

ENSEMBLE ASTERA

Yann Thenet, oboe
Coline Richard, flute
Moritz Roelcke, clarinet
Gabriel Potier, horn
Jeremy Bager, bassoon

The Franco-Swiss wind ensemble Astera was founded in 2019 by five graduates of the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne.

The bond of close friendship and a shared passion for chamber music form the basis of their musical work. Their artistic vision is clearly defined: to blend the tonal and colour palette of the five instruments – flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon – into a perfect unity, whilst constantly striving for the highest level of musical expression. In 2023, the ensemble won First Prize at the prestigious International Carl Nielsen Chamber Music Competition and has since become one of the most sought-after wind quintets of its generation.

Their debut album, featuring works by Debussy, Nielsen, Say and Barber, was released in 2025 on the Swiss label Claves.
